1. Introduction

• Program Versions and Guidelines

The DIP v1.6 introduces refinements to the incentive program for delegates, ensuring a more accurate and fair reward system. This version enhances participation tracking, compensation calculations, and delegate feedback evaluation to maintain high governance standards within ArbitrumDAO.

Effective Date & Coverage: DIP v1.6 is effective starting February 2025 and will remain in place until updated or replaced by a subsequent version (e.g., DIP v1.7). The program is reviewed monthly to assess its effectiveness.

2. Key Updates in v1.6

• Adjusted Voting Power Multiplier to consider the higher accountability for delegates with significant voting power.
• The Communication Rationale parameter was merged into the Delegates’ Feedback (DF) category.
• The new maximum score for DF will increase to 40 points (previously 30 points).
• The scoring range in the rubric for each comment included in the Delegates’ Feedback parameter will be from 0 to 10 (previously 0 to 4)
